At Suryaside our intention is to create a better world by starting with individual wellness. Through cultivating awareness of our selves and our choices we improve the quality of our lives. This active approach to living is “Practicing Humanity.”
The wellspring from which Suryaside Yoga was born was our unrelenting desire to teach people to to self-heal and self-soothe. We firmly believe that each and every person is born with everything they need to achieve bliss, and self-actualization. Through Asana, the physical practice of yoga, we can learn to relax and feel good. Our bodies will learn to be still and our minds will quiet. We will feel nourished, and cared for. We also have a profound appreciation for community and seek out yoga (union) wherever we go. We have deep gratitude to the Woodside and Sunnyside community for embracing us.
