We offer weekly Mommy & Me workshops for both Mommy and Baby, age four weeks to one year and Mommy & Toddler, for one to three and a half year olds. Classes include easy-to-follow sequences specifically designed to serve your post-natal needs focusing on abdominal and pelvic floor strength, opening the shoulders and hips and tension release. You will also be offered optional Thai Yoga massage during class to nourish the body and senses even further.
Mommy & Baby : Wednesdays 1:30-2:30pm
Connect with your body and with the fellow new moms in this gentle Vinyasa flow class while a baby is observing you from the blanket, or even napping next to you. Some poses will be performed together with the little yogis. Students are welcome to take breaks throughout the class and feed or change the baby. After the practice we will have some time for discussion while savoring warm herbal tea.
Mommy & Toddler : Fridays 4-5pm Currently on Summer Break. Check back for Fall schedule!
A special activity to share with your growing child! This gentle Vinyasa flow class will incorporate important and positive lessons for young children, from the importance of healthy lifestyle and supportive accepting community to building self-confidence and sharing space with others.
Mommy & Me classes are led by Irina Chernova, a 500-Hr Certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher, as well as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, currently pursuing her advanced degree in Yoga Therapy and Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Irina is also a Sunnyside mom of a 5-year old boy.
